Tiny Moleskine Journal Flip-Thru

A quick journal-flip to show you my random typographical meanderings. The first half, roughly, was done in Kuretake brush pen while on vacation this summer and on the long flight back from Paris. The rest was done in October for the Inktober challenge.

3x5" watercolor moleskine journal, Ink and gouache.

A journal can be a place for practice, a protected space to hold and document your experiments. For drawing repeated alphabets, working on forms and shapes and variations thereof, discovering new ideas, pulling in words from billboards or talk shows. There's no requirement for a focal point, a harmonic color palette or a title. I think everyone could benefit from a little journal for this type of work.
