The Elusive Illusion Grid

"Curiosity might be pictured as being made up of chains of small questions extending outwards, sometimes over huge distances, from a central hub composed of a few blunt, large questions."
Alain de Botton

Heavy body acrylics, inks, stitched/painted papers, inadvertent paper towel fragments. Located in The Orange Book.

These pages were created in small increments on different days a few weeks to months apart. Just a step at a time. The inks are Dr. Ph Martin's india inks, intense vivid color, especially on white paint or paper. Painted/stitched papers cut into squares. Squares attached to the blue paint. Contrast. Making the right side a grid with blue paint. The result is a fun twist, and I like the illusion that they are the same, at least at first glance.
