More Ink Experiments
"If you work with abstract painting
for a period of time, you may come to think of it
as a melody, a song, a piece of beautiful music."
Creating abstract works in ink every day this month. My process is to make an abstract base, a starting point, very quickly and at random. Then I challenge myself to bring some sort of cohesiveness to the page with more intentional marks and often words. The words are lettered in dip pen and ink. I think that some of the cards have a nice visual balance, something I'm working on these days.
Playing along with the Inktober Challenge, playing every day in October with ink on watercolor paper. These are cards 23-26. I'm really getting into these explorations!
