Happy holiday love to all of you.
I have always loved the week between Christmas and New Years. It is a perfect in-between chance to glance simultaneously backward and forward. And while I don't typically write New Years resolutions, in my mind I do scheme and brainstorm and plan ideas for the year ahead.
It's not been the easiest year for any of us. Yet I continue to believe that doing creative things can be a positive refuge and way to center our minds... as well as a place to find solace when things disintegrate around us.
DY has been going on almost non-stop for 7.5 years, hard to imagine or comprehend! I appreciate all of your kind words and your kindness over the years. I've got lots of fun ideas up my painted sleeves in the year ahead, so stay tuned.
Happy Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy New Year, Happy Winter Solstice and best wishes for all of the good things you choose to celebrate.
