Floating Petals

“Art is not an amusement, nor a distraction, nor is it, as many men maintain, an escape from life. On the contrary, it is a high training of the soul, essential to the soul’s growth, to its unfoldment.”

I want to take whatever paper I am using and turn up the volume.

This page was abstract and so I turned it into floating petals....

If you are still reading along after all these years, thank you. I'm in this zone where I feel like my words here go into the vacuum of the interwebs and the cool kids are at Snapchat having a trendy party. So I think for awhile I will just share pages without attempting to wax poetic.

Since the end of May, I've been creating art like mad! Journal pages and index cards... and developing the content & tutorials for The Circle Workshop {learn more} and enjoying the work shared in the Daisy Yellow FB groups. The Circle FB group has been quite lively and I am loving the camaraderie in that smaller space. This was the first summer in years that we didn't travel and it was quite a nice break; the kids and I worked on our novels for Camp NaNoWriMo and I'm almost finished reading the {epic} The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. Anyhow, that's a little elevator pitch about what's been going on around here.

What are you working on?
