Make hand-carved stamps to use in your art journal.

Eraser stamps are always an engaging activity. This go-around, I made one of my favorite-ever eraser stamps, the word "hello" in cursive. I made some stamps in preparation for index-card-a-day but of course {this is not the first time} I made the stamps writing the letters forwards instead of backwards. Twice.

“If you wish to forget anything on the spot,
make a note that this thing is to be remembered.”
Edgar Allan Poe

I used an x-acto knife for some of these and linocutting tools for some of these. The curves are easier to do with linocutting tools. How I adore immersing myself in ideas for repeating patterns and symbols!!! It's definitely an addictive activity where I lose all track of time. Just one more. Just one more.
