Painting Doodle Stripes
Relaxing arrays of ultra simple patterns, first drawn in pencil, then colored with gouache. Here’s another video filmed while developing the new Tiny Adventure workshop. Might as well film a bunch of extras, right!? My mantra lately is to go back to basics, back to simple forms and shapes and take advantage of the meditative quality of painting repeating patterns. You can draw the shapes in any pencil, then paint with watercolor or gouache in a medium-sized watercolor brush [i.e. round #8]. Also rejuvenating in magic markers, maybe big brush PITT pens?
