Art Journal: Dare the Questions

"There is not one big cosmic meaning for all; there is only the meaning we each give to our life, an individual meaning, an individual plot, like an individual novel, a book for each person.”
Anaïs Nin

The full spread. Ingredients include: acrylic paint, japanese papers, ephemera, painted papers, stitching, magazine cuttings, washi tape, random words typed on a real typewriter. Underneath this page is a completely different page, just acrylic paint and stamped words. It was too tame!

"Dare to defy the odds. Live where you dream to travel."

"Do the thing that you will regret not doing. The thing that means a happier future.  A better, more well-lived life.

"Where do you put the the questions you carry?"
~ Sabrina Ward Harrison

These words popped into my mind in thinking about my 365 Somethings project. Just a little index card at a time carried me in new directions with stitched collage. "What do you want to dare to conquor (sp) in the next 52 weeks. What could you accomplish in 365 days?" As you can see, I'm continuing my pep talk from Dream Life and Love is Oxygen, trying to cheer myself on, to keep moving forward on a path to good health. This is in my altered-book-turned-art-journal The Noticing Journal
