All shot in the last month! We had 3 snowfalls in December, and it hasn't been this "snowy" in N. Texas since we moved here from Pennsylvania (20 yrs). I took most of these shots in jeans, sweater and flip flops. Not "real" cold. The leaves and roses were caught in beautiful form and color when the cold air chilled everything.

I love the second photo....all the oranges and blues are spectacular! And the ones of the roses, too. Even when they're dying they still have beauty.

Such a joyful post today, Tammy! I oooo-ed and aaaaaw-ed as I scrolled down and each of these beautiful pics was revealed. As an avid gardner I sooooo agree with Margaret Roach's quote. I can contest to many successful AND failed "experiments" over the years. I adore your photography.

The little white building is a faerie house. We bought a bunch at an arts festival. Some are on stakes in the ground and some hang on tree branches around the garden. Here's the link to the folks who make them: http://www.faeriehouse.com/. The artists are wonderfully warm people who adore faeries!
