Wednesday Random Color Prompt #11

“Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night. In their gray visions they obtain glimpses of eternity, and thrill, in waking, to find that they have been upon the verge of the great secret. In snatches, they learn something of the wisdom which is of good, and more of the mere knowledge which is of evil.”
Edgar Allan Poe

Neon lights at our favorite BBQ spot.

Your color prompt for today: RED ORANGE GREEN BLUE.

It's up to you to interpret as you wish.

I love your blog. I love that you make art and journaling and the combination so simple and accessible. I really love this photo, too. Can you tell me how you did it? What sort of lights did you use?

Robin, To get a shot like this, you'd need to adjust your shutter speed so that it is very slow and then move the camera while focusing on colored lights, like xmas tree lights, rainbow lights, a neon sign, etc.
