    the sewing room {aka the guest room}

    The chaos has slowly grown to epic proportions. After washing some new fabric and piling it on the guest bed, our dog Kimba climbed up and moved everything around with her paws to get a cozy nap. That's my story, anyhow. My younger daughter and I shifted into high gear and got the room in decent shape for our guests who arrive in a matter of days. I couldn't resist photographing the fabric. The sewing machine and all of the little fabric swatches and gear are now smushed onto one of the two work tables, leaving the other table for guesty stuff. All of the fabric is folded in neat little piles on the bookshelf that only recently housed beaucoup birdhouses. {Did you see Barbie sleeping amidst the fabric?}

    Is that Barbie or the Princess and the Pea?

    Love all the fabrics, all the birdhouses, and especially Barbie tucked into bed! Good luck with your holiday preparations...have a happy Thanksgiving!

    I'm smiling as I look at your stash. We have many of the same fabrics. And yes, Barbie looked quite comfy. Wishing you a most very Happy Thanksgiving.
