The problem solver

I'm not sure if I achieved any new realizations in doing this page, but it was good to write about the job I left about 5 years ago. I wrote about what I liked and disliked. I liked was the mental challenge, the problem solving, redesigning processes, the number crunching and analysis. What I liked least was what most people dislike, the politics. I also have a general dislike of training bosses.
Have you ever written about any of your "paid" jobs? Not the day to day stuff, but the big picture. What did you like about a particular job? What did you do? Some day, you might find it interesting to read.
I did this journaling + doodling in Starbucks, while the kids had a short school day. It's for day THREE of Art Every Day Month at Creative Every Day. Pop over, there is still time to join!

i love the doodling on this page! so beautiful :)
✭ {Tammy}: Opal, Thank you! Loving your works these days as well.
It would be a really lopsided page if I did that pro/con exercise ;) But I love your page, especially the deep dark purples and blues. Gorgeous. Is that a POGO pic at the top right? I want one so bad...
✭ {Tammy}: Cat, Perhaps you could write about a job you had years ago, not the current job? Yes, it's a pogo photo, good eye.
i love the colors in the spread. Just wonderful! Thanks for stopping and dropping a line. I should try this and journal about my job. I am a little afraid it will be too negative and depressing. but maybe the exercise will bring some positivity back my way....who knows?
✭ {Tammy}: Fran, Maybe you could write about what you liked about a job you had years ago, or about a job you think you would enjoy in the future? I tend to write more about the positive, but I am trying to balance that out with some reality checks.
SUCH an impressive spread. What kind of pen do you use to get the white over such dark colors?
Thanks!
Shannon
✭ {Tammy}: Shannon, Thank you for saying hello! It's a white gellyroll on the acrylic background - it really pops and so smooth to write with. Love it.
