The Cowtown Indie Bazaar
Sun, September 5, 2010 at 08:57PM "This highway leads to the shadowy tip of reality: you're on a through route to the land of the different, the bizarre, the unexplainable...Go as far as you like on this road. Its limits are only those of mind itself. Ladies and Gentlemen, you're entering the wondrous dimension of imagination..."

Maggie May I (etsy - maggiemayi) - my vote for most creative presentation style!

The Soap Addict - we bought some Rosemary soap for my husband (shhh secret).

Sarah Zamora - love the textured backgrounds of Sarah's art

White House Design - a brilliant card-holder for kids + those with hand weakness or pain

Jennifer Moore (etsy - Jennipan76 - set-up in progress) - what sparked my interest - the fabric combinations in Jennifer's mini-quilts. Gorgeous.
We explored the Cowtown Indie Bazaar yesterday, a handmade craft fair sponsored by Etsy Ft. Worth. I wanted to share some of the beautiful art|craft. These artists were kind enough to let me photograph their work. Too bad the lighting was dim! There were just a handful of artists with funky, alternative art and I thought there would be more, for some reason. Next: The Urban Street Bazaar in Dallas in October. Hoping it will be funkier!

I wish we had more fairs and bazaars like that here...
The online art community is small: I've done ATC trades with Sarah and Jennifer (blueskysunburn.)

Tammy, you took some great pictures!!! I want to go! I want to go!!! So, not as much "artsy" people as you thought! That can be disappointing! I always love to see the colorful and whimsical creators!
Fabulous macros, Tammy! I almost feel as though I were at the fair too! Handmade soap is the only soap I use, and currently it's a version of rosemary and lavender. The scent sends me over the moon!!! We got it at a fair, of course! Thanks for sharing your beautiful day! Hugs, Terri xoxo
this looks very cool!
