The girls are on spring break, so we spent the day at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, amidst spectacular spring flowers, blooming trees, ponds, lush gardens, arbors, stonework. We had a little snack on the soft green I remember from Pennsylvania, grass that dares you to spin around madly in your bare feet. {The grass in Dallas is unpleasant, not to mention the fire ant enclaves.}

Those tulips are beautiful!! Such inspiring pcitures! x)
Soooo beautiful! My mom gave me a love of tulips!
gorgeous photos... here it's all white and cold, but it's melting more day by day! hugs
Very interesting to see so much in bloom, that is of course to early in my mind, but I totally love seeing it. I can imagine the dry grass but would never think of the Fire ants. So often I am glad for the gray days in the North east as I do not have ants, bad bugs or venomous snakes. We might hit 60 tomorrow and then back to snow on Saturday. Thanks for sharing, really enjoy it. cvb
Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for putting them up!
OMG! Your captures are nothing short of fabulous, Tammy!!!! Be still my dancing heart! Thank you, thank you for bringing a gorgeous spring day into my gray day!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
Beautiful photos. The whole time I was looking at them and admiring the colours, I was taking deep slow breaths like I would have if I were right in the midst of it!

I ♥ this photos; such beautiful springy photos. It's snowing here today! :-/
Rhiannon, Brian, Bonnie Rose, Terri, Sophie and Hanna ~ Thank you for your lovely words. The flowers were truly breathtaking and difficult to capture with a lens! I know many of you are having a dreary March, and I wanted to give you a vision for an early spring. I like Sophie's idea of envisioning that you are amidst the blooms.
