Selective Noticing No. 5b

shiny bits in my sewing box

A quick hello to start your week. Happy Monday!

Remember to take a moment and look around you today.

The way the cement sparkles after the rain.

The grungy logo on the garbage truck.

Nail polish bottles lined up on the shelf.

The taste of the fresh banana in your lunch.

{this is a new series about selective noticing which blossomed from my desire to photograph all sorts of seemingly small details with my phone... i hope to inspire all of us to notice every day moments}

I love the idea of this. Taking a quick photo with my phone of a selective could be an instagram series!

No photo but today (all day) I noticed the lovely territorial call of the red-wing blackbirds that are feasting at the bird feeder...the way they stick out their necks when calling and hunch up their wings to show off the beautiful bands of red & yellow feathers on their shoulders...thank you for the reminder to take a moment for the seeingly unimportant but infinitely beautiful!
