“I define anxiety as experiencing failure in advance… and if you have anxiety about initiating a project, then of course you will associate risk with failure.”
Seth Godin
What have you noticed today?
♥ tan espresso bubbles in my latte shaped like a heart
♥ putting purple and grey eye shadow on my daughters who are monsters for their class play today
♥ bright puffy light coming in from a high window on a cloudy white day
{this is a new series about selective noticing which blossomed from my desire to photograph all sorts of seemingly small details with my phone... i hope to inspire all of us to notice every day moments}

I love this series. Focusing on daily details is so important to happiness.
The essence of joy can be found in this blog, so congratulations. To be present is everything and when the past melts away and the phantom future ceases to take up your thinking, you have found all there is to find in life - peace.
The clouds were so beautiful I took photos, and on my walk back from the beach I noticed a stunning spider nursery-web holding some grass stalks together. I never take music on my walk - I like to look and listen.
my kids and i noticed that there was a little smiley face design in our sink's drain! the smile was the shaving of a carrot skin, the eyes were pieces of kale. i took a picture and my son said i should put it on my blog soon! i love this!
