    No Frills Prompt 6: Sphere

New creative prompts that are simple, flexible and fully customizable. These prompts are useful for creatives from collage artists to photographers to art journalists.

You can respond in whatever way you wish, but do create something in words or images. The photograph and the word SPHERE can be used together or separately. Don't overthink this, see the intro for help.

    IDEAS:

♦ create just the right reds, oranges + yellows in watercolors, and paint swirlies
[the Color Mixing Bible helped me get started in mixing colors]

♦ use stippling, aka shading with dots, on a sketch (reference ideas)

♦ make a fruit smoothie with red + orange + yellow fruits

♦ practice sketching light falling on spherical objects (as in the shadow spheres drawing project)

♦ photograph 6 spherical objects when you are out and about

    INTERPRETATIONS

I have my response posted and blogged, with uncharacteristic promptness! this one was so much fun I might do it again with different materials - maybe watercolour.
