No Frills Prompt 3: Green
Fri, October 29, 2010 at 02:00AM
New creative prompts that are simple, flexible and fully customizable. These prompts are useful for creatives from collage artists to photographers to art journalists.

weathered house, pennsylvania
Respond in whatever way you wish, but do create something in words or images. The photograph and the word GREEN can be used together or separately.
Don't overthink this, see the intro for help!
IDEAS:
♦ draw a house with simple lines, a brick chimney and a striped metal awning
♦ paint a grungy art journal background, using only green + black + white {here's my interpretation, in greens + blues}
♦ make a list of things that could be painted in unexpected colors
♦ set a timer for 11 minutes; write an ultra short story taking place in this house

Oh your blog makes me soo very happy!
It's funny! I made a journal page about that color a week ago! If you want to read the brainstorming I did just after reading your prompt, this is the adress : http://nathalienayer.blogspot.com/2010/10/green.html
Hope you understand french a little bit...
By the way, your blog is by far my FAVORITE!
Brian, I look forward to seeing how you interpret this prompt! And thank you for making me smile today!
Nathalie, I added your link to the post under interpretations. In high school and college I took 4 years of French and so I can follow just basically your words. I went an married a guy from Mexico and then had to learn Spanish so it's all mixed in my head at this point!
