No Frills Prompt 15: Blues

Creative prompts that are simple, flexible and fully customizable.

blue house, pittsburgh, pa

Like all of the prompts in this series, this is easy peasy! You can respond in whatever way you wish, but do create something in words or images. The photograph and the word BLUES can be used together or separately. Don't overthink this, see the intro for help.

♦ create an art journal background using only aqua + turquoise + lime green

♦ sketch your house or this photograph

♦ set a timer for 11 minutes; write a stream of concious page about the last time you had the blues... how did you find your way back to feeling decent, or how could creativity help you find your way back if you are still blue?

♦ collect 10 blue things

♦ get out watercolors and create 10 different blues by mixing colors on your palette

♦ photograph 6 different shades of blue

Check out the guide to the No Frills Prompts!
