My Art Journal is Trying to Tell Me Something

Not long ago, I was stitching on pages in my altered book art journal I call The Noticing Journal. So here's a random page I stitched with a circle. When I sew in a book, I check to see the impact the stitching would have on the page on the reverse, because I don't really want to mess up something I really liked, but I don't analyze it or "coordinate" the stitching with what's on the next page. There's a freedom in that. A randomness.
So I sewed around and around and around to my heart's content on this pink background.
I'm not a woo-woo sort of girl.
But wow, look what was circled on the other side of the page!!!

"I must try anyhow..."
Has your art journal ever told you something?

Can't get a stronger message than that!! :)
Yep, I've noticed that journals tell things you need to hear - at least mine does that from time to time but I have to be open to it and listen (and look!) Your art journal seems to be the perfect companion for you... what a strong and powerful message it is sending! Wow!
My art journals tell me I coulda, woulda, shoulda learned to paint and draw!
Tammy: ICAD2 and your Daily Paper Prompts helped me to learn to paint and draw with my paper collages. The index card concept is genius! The small size of the index card is so do-able.
Looking forward to No Frills Prompts, so I can again share with you and others my painting, drawing and collaging in response to your fun prompts.
Both beautiful and insightful--now that's quite the journal!! I'm usually too controlling to let mine say anything, may have to learn to sit back and listen better. xx
What, and I mean this sincerely, are you NOT trying?? What a great inspiration you are for just jumping in the deep end and giving it a flail because the deep end ain't that deep after all! Maybe the journal is just channeling your inner song. That's my thought, any old hoo.
My heart skipped a beat when I scrolled down. Such a beautiful message for the universe to send you in a very less than subtle way. :)
I like Woo-Woo!
And, I like having you back and posting!
That is amazing! I want to learn to sew on my paper
