drawings in a 5x8" watercolor moleskine...
Drew the first mandala on the last day of school at Starbucks before carpool. The second was drawn over the course of a few kids' tennis lessons. At 8am it's still feasible to sit outside the courts and draw. This is their first experience with tennis. When I was a kid, no-one took lessons in anything except swimming!
Eden's doodle Hippie Chick is inspiring me to get out the watercolors and colorize my doodles!
Question: What creativity have you squeezed into the pockets of your days this week?

it's all about grabbing those little moments to create! beautiful mandala!
Tammy, thanks for introducing me to Hippie Chick! I'm in heaven!!! All of that color is making me swoon with delight. Hmmmm . . . I've had a little hand dewing project going lately that I've been able to pick up here and there. Very satisfying! Hugs, Terri oxxo
I think one of the things that inspires me most about you, is how you create on the fly, you fit in those moments of creative magic in and around everything you do. Makes me look at the moments in my own life that I can bring that creative moment to life. Thank you!
Tammy, Thanks for the Shout Out about the Hippie Chick! You are so smart to bring your own projects to the kids activities! I did that too, but sometimes was a little shy about bringing the project out! I don't have to squeeze my art in like I used to, but if I don't get my fix, I'm a little too fiesty!!
