Make a wish

My older daughter turned 12 last week... tonight is her birthday party!
Here's the story of the birthday party! One of those "truth is wierder than fiction" stories. About 15 mn before the party was to start, the power failed in the entire area where the party was to be held. Traffic lights were out, everything. So we called everyone who was en route in the massive traffic jam and cancel the party! So... after some tears, our family went out to dinner and had a piece of the birthday cake at home. I guess I'll be ordering another cake:(
And yes, she is a super cool, hilarious, beautiful kid full of creative energy and ideas and addicted to eating olives, drawing mandalas, reading books and all things Harry Potter.
