List it Tuesday: Quick Fixes + Movie Lines

With the remaining blank pages left in the hand-made journal that Hanna made for me {the stitched journal we used for The Journal List Project} I did a bunch of the lists for Artsyville's List it Tuesday challenge. Here are the first two lists.

Quick Fixes... things that you could do in a flash but still remain undone.

I didn't know where to start with this list because I think I have an entire house of fixes. So I looked on the back porch and saw terra cotta pots empty after summer flowers, pots that would look better stacked up. And the dreaded super scary laundry piles never end. I did finally draw EDM #21. And got my hair colored. And cleaned the pool traps. But still so much to do. And yet... there's always paint. And markers. And journals to stitch.

Movie Lines

"He died of natural causes. Natural to the line of work he was in."

~ Tommy Lee Jones, No Country for Old Men.

And I wanted to show you the front and back of the journal that Hanna made me for the List Journal Swap. It has been just perfect for writing lists and spurring me to write when otherwise I might not! Hanna stocks her Etsy shop with all kinds of goodies, and sometimes you'll find her handmade journals.

Have a great day. Now go make some lists!

Woo Hoo! 21 Secrets workshop registration opens tomorrow!!!

Ha, I'm not going to make a list right now. I crossed a HUGE TASK from a list today and I'm still enjoying the feeling... no new list-making until Saturday (or so...) tomorrow I have a 'reward day' - art journals, here I come!!! Oh dear, did I wish you a happy New Year yet? HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Oh god, the quick fix list reminded me of a button that needs to sewn onto my winter coat. It's been off for at least three years already and I keep postponing it. It's like a two minute job! I have no idea why some tiny tasks are always postponed, maybe it's BECAUSE they are tiny. We feel we can do them anytime, so no need to do them now? :-)
