Ahh, easier said than done! For me, it's so much easier to let go of things than when the kids were younger. I guess it's not so much what I let go of .... it's the 3-4 items that I must do every day, then the rest of the time I can play. 1- make bed 2- exercise 3- wash face 4- art
I let go of the house, the cooking, the jewelry making, the knitting, you name it! You name it! I just haven't let go of the reading. Can't let go of that!
Kids are grown, housework is not at the top of the priority list.......If I could just get MY MAN to understand I'm not letting him go............. well, maybe. I should.....

last year, during some very difficult times, a friend shared this quote with me:
Let Go
Or Be Dragged.
It was a very powerful statement for me and is something I try to remind myself, over and over again!
I have to let go that I'm not good enough to make 'real art'.
Lots of nights I let go of dinner. Cereal for everyone! Hooray!
(we won't even talk about my sketchy housekeeping efforts)
