“Poetry is not only dream and vision; it is the skeleton architecture of our lives. It lays the foundations for a future of change, a bridge across our fears of what has never been before.”
My daughter's (13) knots.
My daughter's (13) knot necklace.
First three - 5x8" moleskine, pitt pen, slicci pen, gellyroll. Bottom - gelly roll on hotel notepad.
During our trip my older daughter and I drew knots. A lot of knots. We were working on them by starting with the white space and trying to develop shortcuts to built the knot without making it the regular way, if that makes sense. It takes a lot of experimentation and a lot of mistakes, but it is a mental challenge that we adore. All of the knots on my moleskine pages were drawn from the inside out.
