Inspired by Coffee + Tea
Thu, March 18, 2010 at 06:01AM "That is the principal thing:
not to remain with the dream,
with the intention,
with the being in the mood,
but always forcibly
to convert it into all things."

I'm delighted by the sights and scents of both coffee and tea. I think most people prefer one or the other but I love both! A morning latte while reading the newspaper blogs. On a summer day, a tall glass of crisp iced tea with fresh spearment leaves from the garden. Hot tea with honey in the middle of the night to soothe a cough and keep my pitt pen and I company while I draw mandalas. We drink it. We draw it. We are inspired by it. The tea illustrations at Lovely Sweet William, a tea cup collage at OiseauxNoir. Wil Freeborn's cafe artwork. The Cafe Stylo Flickr group. If you absolutely had to choose coffee or tea, and not drink the other ever again (the horror), which would it be? I would have to pick tea.

Oh Tammy, I could not go without my........COFFEE!!! Add a dab of milk and some sugar! Yum!
Definitely coffee (and lots of it) first thing in the morning! Hot tea and iced tea in the afternoon. I love them both! Hugs, Terri xoxo
I am strictly a TEA person...Hot, Iced, Green, Black, Flavored...as long as it is tea.
However, I absolutely love the smell of coffee brewing and the smell of coffee beans being ground.
When I was a child (many years ago), I would stand by the coffee grinder while my mother shopped
for groceries.
Thanks for your always inspiring site.
Jo
I also love both coffee and tea but if I had to pick just one for the rest of my life it would be tea. It has more possibilities.

Definitely tea, but that's just because I don't drink coffee. However I agree with Jo in that the smell of coffee beans are heavenly!
I love the quote by Rilke! Just what I needed to get motivated on pending projects in my life!!! :) Thank you!
