Ink Experiments #3

The paper/pen/ink tests continue...
Continuing with the Clairefontaine Calligrapy paper (ivory, 130g, find it at Writers Bloc). On the top left, I doodled with the Rapidograph. I used the .35mm nib filled with J. Herbin Rose Cyclamin ink (find it at Pendemonium) for a thin, precise, flowing line. Then I continued playing by dipping a calligraphy pen in the ink and just scribbled. I'm barely getting used to the angle of the pen but the ink glides along the surface of the paper as if it were ice skating! For good measure, I sketched a blob of ink to check for bleed-through or buckling and the paper held up perfectly. This world of Rapidographs with fountain pen and india ink is new to me, and soooooooo fun.
