japanese maples along the fence

one of the faerie houses hangs amidst the maples

the unproductive upside down tomatoes get a splash

the red bark japanese maple peeks out from under the pergola in our back yard

the faerie house before the leaves changed
A tiny, lovely morsel of autumn goodness just before it gets chilly in Dallas-Fort Worth. Not the wickedly wonderful fall foliage of Pennsylvania that I remember, but a glimpse.
There's a glimpse of this week's flowers in Glorious Too.
[We found these enchanting faerie houses years ago at the Fort Worth Arts Festival; designed + created by The Faerie House.]
