getting started: building a rainbow {5 days of color}

Here's the challenge.

Create art in one color each day this week: an art journal page, a sketch, a doodle, a painting, a mixed media work, embroidery, crochet.

Here's where you go to add a link to your art for each color. There are linky lovies at each page.

DECEMBER 1: RED or PINK

DECEMBER 2: ORANGE or YELLOW

DECEMBER 3: GREEN or AQUA

DECEMBER 4: BLUE or PURPLE

DECEMBER 5: BLACK or WHITE

{learn about the second week of the challenge in this post}

  1. Select a color from the list and make art with that color as the focus. A bit of other color is fine. We are all busy campers during the holidays - even those that don't celebrate! I'd love for you pick one color and participate.
  2. You can do any or all of the colors.
  3. The art must be created by December 7th. Please play along with the spirit of the challenge and do not use something you've already created!
  4. Post the artwork and pop in at Daisy Yellow to find Linky Love. Add your name and the URL to the artwork (your blog or flickr or instagram or whatever).

I'm in! I think. Life with a toddler means things get skipped sometimes :) But I'll at least take a crack at it.

I'd love to be a hostess - can I do orange?

{Tammy}: It's official--> i am rushmore = ORANGE

I'd like to host and have the color aqua if possible.

{Tammy}: It's official--> the idyllic muse = AQUA

I'd love to be a hostess, Tammy! I could work with any color as long as I have a tiny bit of notice (to work it in between feeding all the zoo animals) ;) so you put me where you need a hostess. xo!

{Tammy}: It's official--> inkstitch = to be determined!

I'm interested, definately :)

If I have the time I'd love to make/join for PINK. I will try to make one tonight.

{Tammy}: It's official--> ihanna = PINK

I can host purple, by the way. I'll focus on that instead of trying to do daily artworks :)

(Will the linkies for each day be here or on the hostess' blog? I only ask because I've never done one before and I'd have to figure it out.)

{Tammy}: It's official--> Caitlyn = PURPLE
To clarify, I'll put the linkies here on Daisy Yellow so folks can go to one spot to check everything out.

You really have the funniest ideas! I would be glad to do green.

{Tammy}: It's official--> Carlene = GREEN
