Get Out Your Paint {You Might Art Journal Today}

"But there's a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother's story, because hers is where yours begin."
— Mitch Albom

24x24" canvas, neocolors, acrylics

I learned this from SARK ---> teeny tiny micro-movements are still steps in the right direction.

If your art journaling stuff is out and ready to go {paint, brushes, water jars, collage stuff, etc} you've started! That's a step! Even if you don't paint for 3 hours. Even if you don't paint at all, give it a shot.

It costs just a few minutes.

Not sure what the future holds for this puppy {maybe a heap of gesso}.

Get out your stuff!

Great journal page!
Using the element of shapes as a theme, creative and a pleasure to look at :]

You are such an inspiration!!! Always my "Go to" site......I've wondered how Neo colors work on canvas....not bad, especially considering that you will add stuff. I like it...a lot:) I always look forward to seeing what you have done each day....I'm in a serious rut right now:(

April and Eden, thank you for your sweet words about the canvas drawing/painting. I don't think I have any pens that will work to doodle on canvas - but maybe I'll do something like this on paper as well?

Rose, I bet it feels G*R*E*A*T that you painted!!!! Go girl!!!
