Get Out Your Art Supplies!

I've been exploring YouTube for art journaling and watercolor tutorials and found this wonderful video of doodling and journaling on finished backgrounds, from the ingenious Samantha Kira of a girl & her journal. I've been reading and enjoying Samantha's blog this morning and it just makes me smile.

My name is Angie and just wanted to introduce myself and tell you how wonderful to have found your blog, it is such an inspiring place to visit, I am going to start on your art prompts, I really need something to jog that creative energy at the moment and would also love to start a mum-daughter book club...so many great ideas! I especially like how you involve your girls in your art journey, we are going away in October on a car trip and just sifting through your blog I already have some idea on how to organise journals for them and what supplies to bring, so I can be creative and they are also busy creating!! Wonderful idea.

Sorry about that, reread post and didn't make sense, what I meant to say was that I was trying to organise a travel bag for our car trip for my daughters and maybe a mother-daughter bookclub for my two girls, ages 5 and 7. Phew! Had a long day!

I love Samantha's videos. She inspired me to get started on my own art journal at the beginning of this year. About a week ago I finally tried my hand at making her easy peasy journal and it was so cool to make my own book. I also love your blog! It's so colorful and full of inspiring ideas!
