Finding Fresh Fun

monoprint with DIY gel plate {instructions here}

Following through on my promise to include MORE links to other blogs!

  1. I love how folks share the mail art they create and receive on happy mail days. Here's a post about Mail Art from Carlene at Taylor Maide. Karen of I am Rushmore fame has a site called Mail Me Some Art which is mail-art-centric.
  2. Brené Brown talks about the difference between shame and guilt.
  3. Jana shares beautiful art journal pages at handmade with pen and paper and love.
  4. At Willowing, a free tutorial to create an art-over-collage art journal page or mixed media work
  5. Teresa of Star Gardener {one of my all-time favorite blog names, by the way} is creating a word + collage card each week for 52 weeks.
  6. Thank you to Love Notes Restyle Studio for the blogging award!
  7. Connie Rose took my workshop The Museum of Simple Things last summer and shares her luscious finished pages of the altered book art journal we started in the workshop.
  8. At her blog, Diana Trout shares thoughts about Teaching Art.
  9. Lynn of The Little Red Hen is working s-m-a-l-l to create star quilt patches. I truly love these.
  10. Linda talks about the best ink for gel plate print making... the post pertains to almost any painting situation. There are variables and we must experiment
  11. On Mondays, Lori shares her thought-provoking series Project-Based Homeschooling for Grown-Ups
  12. Eliza shares Mock Travel Journal pages at her blog Druga Szesnascie. Fortunately Eliza's english is ace and there's a lovely translation of her native Polish.
  13. Sarah shares her experience with a fresh set of art journal prompt cards.
  14. Hanna is facilitating a spring postcard swap, and I've made 10 cards already! I'm going to make 10 more, to send to the folks that send me postcards. That part is not required, but fun.
  15. A lovely guide to watercolor resist techniques at Lost Coast Post.

wonderful links Tammy . . . a few new ones to dive into! I think sharing favourites is a great idea.

And may I add my thanks as well for all of these links! Particularly for me: Lori's Project-Based Homeschooling for Grown-Ups. Her essays are wonderfully inspiring :-)
