EDM #10: Draw a hand or hands

“An artist must be free to choose what he does, certainly,
but he must also never be afraid to do what he might choose.”
Langston Hughes

5x8" moleskine, slicci pen

The text reads..."My left hand! I've never drawn a hand before, how interesting. Instead of trying to do a quick contour drawing I worked more slowly..." I really like how this turned out and the slicci pen is so lovely. That dot on my hand? A fire ant bite. In the kitchen. Welcome to summer in Texas.

I'm working through Danny Gregory's Everyday Matters {EDM} drawing list. The idea is explained here, and all of the drawings are tagged EDM Challenge.

It is an amazing process, right? I remember a 'hand' from years ago... it sticks with me even now. Great job.
