Drawing at the Beauty Salon

I drew my daughter as she was reading, trying to capture the lines.

My daughter (12) captured me {looking quite like a turtle, it seems} while my hair was being colored.

 

I drew my younger daughter (10) getting her hair cut, but the interesting thing was that I didn't have my glasses on for any of the drawing work. I could kind of see the index card, but my vision is horrid, so I could only make out the major contours of the people I was drawing. I could just see blurry forms, even though they were right in front of me. I focused {no pun intended} on the feel of the lines, just trying to get across what was happening. And I super love this!
