Dotted Backgrounds
Wed, February 18, 2009 at 05:00AM A package arrived with BIG bubble wrap! On the heavy cardboard cover of a watercolor pad, I stamped acrylic inks with big bubble wrap and small bubble wrap cut into circles and rectangles. Added black texture with a paper towell. This is one of those backgrounds I hesitate to use... I just love the way the ink POPS like neon lights. It just makes me smile.
My altered books live in a basket of journals. The loose journal pages go in archival boxes. Unfinished pages stay in my art journaling basket on the art shelves awaiting journaling or a quote or whatever the next step.
