Doodle Map No. 1
Sun, November 4, 2012 at 11:39AM
5x8" sketch moleskine (the paper is off white, I made it white here), gellyrolls, microns, sliccis
This is a doodle map I finished on the return flights from Milan last week. Continuing my colorization mode, I decided to add color to this design. I've created these before and left them in B&W, so it's interesting to see it bloom. The color you see is about an hour of work.
This is my art for DAY FOUR of ART EVERY DAY MONTH.
November is Art Every Day Month (aka AEDM), an annual creative tradition hosted by Leah of Creative Every Day. I hope you'll get involved!

This looks like a really fun thing to do to pass large amounts of time like waiting rooms etc.
I'm loving it ... I thought "map" even before reading.
Looking at this is inspiring me to expand my embroidery!
