Creativity Queue Challenge: Day No. 4

     It's Day No. Four (4)!

Lots going on here at our house. The air conditioning guy is here and in a few hours we are off to a birthday party.  So, while life intrudes here a teeny bit, I ask that you guys post your continuing progress in our EIGHT non-consecutive days of creativity. Hoping that a few days between posting has given you time to progress on your works.

    YOU DEFINE YOUR CREATIVE ENDEAVORS.

Figure out how to make quiche.

Plant a patch of orange + purple pansies.

    Photograph graffiti.

    Organize your embroidery floss.

Here's a fun image I had while reading the thought-provoking responses to the post What is Your Focus. Imagine a HUGE round table, as big as an entire room, shaped like a bagel (or a donut, if you prefer something sweeter) and a swivel chair in the center. Divide up the table into sections, each with a favorite medium. A sewing machine with fabric on the left and paper on the right, a pile of photographs, art journaling materials, acrylics, old magazines, scissors, watercolors, inks, blank journals, a pile of cotton yarn and knitting needles, you simply turn your chair and get rolling!

Major unforgiveable oops! I forgot to mention our adorable hostesses for {DAY FOUR} are Lu of The Daily Commotion and Carlene of Taylor Maide

Love the image of the creativity bagel! I have been thinking about your post. It's something I often list or try to diagram to better understand my creative pursues. They never quite get to the heart of it but I think the bagel imagery is perfect for me. Most all of my pursues could be laid around such a table and I might swivel to sewing and paper today, collage and art journaling tomorrow or just go round and round the table. Whee!

Thank you for the opportunity, this didn't even feel like a challenge. I enjoyed the process more because I had to document every single step and in the end it helped me clear one more thing off my creativity queue list! :)

I love your vision of the table. i can see it in my head right here in my kitchen and I love all of the mediums too but as I have a minor in crochet, I would add some hooks LOL.

A good day. A very good day. And a good day in which creativity takes many forms and expressions. My blog says it all and now I go and eat.

Very cool table!! amazing! So today was all about finishing the master bath.. I won't be blogging or putting up pictures until Monday and it will go on Monday's Musings.. But I can share what I-WE did today. Hubs sanded the drywall and vacuumed it. I painted a pretty shade of sorta blue. Hubs put up the new light fixture and switch plates. Then it was my turn again so I cleaned the wood floors and applied the poly coat. Tomorrow we replace the tioly and put down the base boards. Yay we'll be done! Well, except for making the artwork for the walls and jazzin it up a bit..
