Creative Experiments (Part 3)
Tue, May 12, 2009 at 04:00AM
In Creative Experiments (Part 1) I introduced the flavors of creative expansion. Part 2 provided the chance to earn creativity points (just like the gold stars you got as a child in school). Your final score will be the sum of points from parts 2, 3 and 4.
Score 1 point for each of the items below you've done thus far in 2009:
♥ Explored all of the aisles of an art supply store
♥ Read an entire book on creativity, art journaling or creative projects
♥ Used colors you don't typically use in an art or craft
♥ Done art with a friend
♥ Sketched in a public place
♥ Practiced cursive writing or printing
♥ Done art while waiting for someone or something
♥ Wrote morning pages (ala Julia Cameron), 3 handwritten stream-of-concious pages first thing in the morning
♥ Tried a new art medium
♥ Written a poem or haiku
♥ Listened to a creative podcast
♥ Photographed subjects outside your comfort zone (like watermelons)
The idea is to try new things, exand your creativity by experimenting. What's your score?
Check out the entire series of creative experiments to earn creativity points based on experimentation you've done in 2009.

12 of 13!
Haven't read an entire art book yet this year, but ordered a few this weekend and will get to it soon.
xoxo
I got a score of Seven. I think that's pretty good and I'm waiting for my gold stars.
My score is eight. I've been really trying to push myself out of my comfort zone, so I'm pretty proud of that...
9 points for me.
yey!
Again : 7/12. Not bad...
7-9 for me much higher than I expected.
Listening to a podcast was new and using Orange is different, I tend to only work with it in the Fall. I just went to a course on Handwriting for work- teaching kids- did a lot of practicing there- so I counted that :):) Have a good one!
Woohoo, I got 7 and feel like a winner!! ;-)
boohh...only got 4 :( got to get to work!
