Car Time: Podcasts!

Driving back + forth from the kids' school, when I've got the car to myself, I listen to podcasts or music. Last week I got caught up with the 157th episode of The Creative Mom Podcast and today I listened to author and artist Ricë Freeman-Zachery interview Aimee Myers Dolich and Lisa Myers Bulmash about creativity and motherhood (link to the podcast). There was a good bit of discussion about the importance of art as a sanity-keeper in the early months of motherhood.
Art would have been really good for me when the girls were babies. It didn't click into place until about 3 years ago when they were about 5 and 7.
Ricë is a natural interviewer and the words flow easily. It was a great discussion and a good one for moms with young children.
