    building a rainbow {5 days of color} black or white

    [PAGE DOWN to ADD YOUR LINK to THE LINKY LOVE]

    We're building a rainbow!!!

    {the details are here in this post}

    Create art in one color each day this week: an art journal page, a sketch, a doodle, a painting, a mixed media work, embroidery, crochet.

    Here's where you go to add a link to your art for each color - there are linky lovies on each page.

    DECEMBER 1: RED or PINK

    DECEMBER 2: ORANGE or YELLOW

    DECEMBER 3: GREEN or AQUA

    DECEMBER 4: BLUE or PURPLE

    DECEMBER 5: BLACK or WHITE

    BLACK!

    {our color hostess is Denice, so go check out the intro to BLACK at inkstitch}

    there are 102 boxes on this page in the 5x8" moleskine, drawn in pitt pen, i'll post again when finished

    WHITE!

    {our color hostess is Jazmin, so go check out the intro to WHITE at syrens idyll}

    My white art journal page is on 9x12" cardboard; gesso, acrylics, neocolors, collage

    Please post your link(s) to your artwork in BLACK and your artwork in WHITE (you can link twice, if they are in separate posts), as we begin creating our rainbow. {please link to the exact post, not the blog home page}

    For today's inspiration and motivation, please {please} listen to Ricё Freeman-Zachary interview artist Sue Kreitzman [link to interview podcast] and [link to Sue's website]. I've felt so darned good about being an artist, about creating, blooming, growing, experimenting, dreaming. Ricё is an amazing interviewer, and I highly recommend you download a bunch of her podcasts.

    Tammy, thanks for being so generous with your ideas. I have really had fun building this rainbow and I'm so inspired by everyone's work.

    Wow, those colors just flew past. It was such fun to have a destination and a goal each day. It was also fun to visit with all of you to see how everyone interpreted the color challenge.
