Bicycles: Europe
Thu, July 2, 2009 at 01:34PM "Some people are still unaware that reality contains unparalleled beauties. The fantastic and unexpected, the ever-changing and renewing is nowhere so exemplified as in real life itself."
~ Berenice Abbott
My intrigue with bicycles began on our first walk after arriving at our hotel in Munich, fully exhausted after a sleepless flight and an autobahn drive across Germany. And it never stopped. I loved that they were everywhere you turned, that people did everything on their bikes... talking on their cell phone, doing their marketing, commuting, walking the dog, smoking, drinking coffee, eating iced cream, riding one-handed, kids or girlfriend balancing on the back bar, making deliveries, holding conversations with a person inches away... fascinating.
