Batik Backgrounds

This starts with... "There are days that nothing on my to do list gets accomplished..." and I go on to talk about the art stuff I did, even though it wasn't on the list of "productive life stuff."
The book I altered is downright horrid; I bought it for about $2 USD at the book store and happened to read a few passages as I was altering it. Believe me, it's better this way!
Pages from the altered hardback I call the noticing journal. I transformed the book into an art journal. These pages use a technique I teach in the Museum of Simple Things Workshop that result in a funky batik look with lots of variations for art journal backgrounds.
