"Our individuality is all, all, that we have. There are those who barter it for security, those who repress it for what they believe is the betterment of the whole society, but blessed in the twinkle of the morning star is the one who nurtures it and rides it in, in grace and love and wit, from peculiar station to peculiar station along life's bittersweet route."

hmm... the things I can think of re workshops are:

have an affiliate plan (this means other people will do a bunch of promotion FOR you in hopes of getting their affiliate payment)

have the workshop include all of the 'sensory styles' sight, hearing, kinisthetic (sp?)
if you can make your advertising include all of those as well, you will reach far more people. for more info on this you could research NLP sensory types and advertising. there is a lot of smarmy info out there but there are also many ways to use these techniques morally.

possibly... have 2 versions of the workshop for different prices. will make it more accessible.
not sure how practical that would be. maybe the more expensive one could be the same but would have a certain number of one on one emails with you for support/feedback/troubleshooting?

p.s. I so SO hope you consider an etsy or similar shop! I've seen you mentioned with love on so many different blogs and I know that some people would love to be able to buy prints or originals of your work (I particularly love your cities) ☺☺♥☺☺

Liberty, Wow! I will definitely take your words to heart and do some research in how to expand into different sensory styles. Very interesting. The idea of two versions is intriguing... and could be do-able if it was an add-on benefit but the same workshop.

I have given a little thought to selling prints, but it's the logistics of printing and mailing that I haven't worked out. Your words are so wonderfully kind and uplifting, and I appreciate your comments!

Tammy, I can't think of anyone more qualified to teach a seminar on art journaling. Your love of this medium is so apparent. Will definitely give some thought to your offerings. I wish you every success!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

I only wish I could attend your workshop but sadly I am a continent away! I so enjoy your blog and flickr pics and always find a lot of inspiration here :-) - wishing you much success with the workshop and looking forward to hearing all about it.

Terri, You always have a unique insight and I appreciate your thoughts.

Sam, Good news, the workshop will be offered on the web although technological details are undecided. Sorry the post was clear as mud!

Dawn, There are a bunch of workshops that go through my mind, and indeed mandalas and watercolors would be fun to teach. Thank you for your feedback!
