    Art Journal: Warmth

“There is no such thing as a weird human being.
It's just that some people require more understanding than others.”
    Tom Robbins

Taking a break from green and blue and moving into more rainbowy colors in The Noticing Journal today.  These pages started with just a photo of our dog Kimba on a rust background. She's a Rhodesian Ridgeback with a beautiful rust coat. I built from that with images that had rust, jewels, earth colors, and other quirky things.

This is my art for Day TEN of ART EVERY DAY MONTH

November is Art Every Day Month (aka AEDM), an annual creative tradition hosted by Leah of Creative Every Day. I hope you'll get involved!

Are you working on the pages loose? Will you wait till you're done before binding them back together and I am SO curious to see how that will be accomplished (I have no bright ideas). Love the progress you are making - each spread is so inviting. Thanks for the peak.

Indeed a warm spread Tammy - I love the glow and the rusty pictures, makes me feel all comfy!

Kimba is a beautiful dog! I have been painting a lot of blues and greens lately, I might do a speed with colours I don't use much to change it up.
