Art Journal: The World Ahead

New pages from The Noticing Journal. I whipped out my art journaling gear last night and got busy in the book I'm altering, have been altering, continue to alter, the book currently under alterations... you get the idea. I had painted a background of blues awhile ago and added a photograph of a road on the right side  so that was where this started. In a journal that is not finished, I just flip through the pages until I see a set I want to work on. It's not scientific or planned. It's not in order. This is maybe 10 pages into the book. It just evolves. I do not get bogged down with "shoulds" when I art journal. Too many of those in the rest of our lives. So I cut up a magazine I got in Italy, grabbed some postage stamps, bits of junk, abstract art from my stash and wrote the Kate Atkinson quote with white gellyroll, added more paint, and it was a wrap!

This is my art for DAY FIVE of ART EVERY DAY MONTH

November is Art Every Day Month (aka AEDM), an annual creative tradition hosted by Leah of Creative Every Day. I hope you'll get involved!
