Art Journal: Like Confetti

here's the "before" shot, the background of alchohol inks, j. herbin fountain pen inks, stamped with gesso, plus correction tape to set up journaling spots

I think this is a fantastic page Tammy! It's bright, bold and full of movement, simply as a background... and then there's the very clever journalling spaces and all your squares! Brilliant and very inspiring! =)

It's amazing what can become of an impromptu purchase at an office supply store {correction tape}.
Michelle, I put the correction tape on the page before anything else - that's the lighter white stripes. After using the inks etc. and I started journaling I realized I needed more space... so the more opaque white stripes are the correction tape added afterward. I didn't remove any tape.
I've tried masking spots with masking tape and electrical and painters tape with mixed results.

I never thought of using correction tape for journaling spots. Genius! Especially over backgrounds that are difficult to work on.
I love the colors!!! The correction tape idea is awesome.
