Art Journal: 3 Hearts

This unfinished loose art journal collage was created on the heavy cardboard back cover of an 8 x 10" wire-bound pad of watercolor paper. This cardboard is super sturdy and I like working with it.

This week, I'm making a point of using things that I've made as part of these art journal collages. Eventually it would be cool to make everything that goes into a collage! The hand-made ephemera includes hand-painted papers and cotton fabric stamped with hearts and diamonds hand carved eraser stamps. My daughter designed the heart stamp that I carved last year. I used Neocolor II wax crayons to add color and edge the images. Will add a quote and journaling... work in progress.
