My daughters and I have been watercoloring abstracts. Soccer was cancelled due to heavy rains the last week. Saturday was a day of painting, pool & pizza. It doesn't get much better! My paintings are abstract focusing on rusty oranges and blues. My older daughter used pinks and blues in pastel colors.

We added kosher salt for texture, a trick we learned from my daughter's pre-school art teacher. Just add kosher salt when the painting is still wet, let it absorb, and wipe it off the next day.
