Abstract Inks

love!

crazy inks

alchohol inks and j. herbin fountain pen inks with three different liquids underneath

white cooking wine under the left third of the page

water under the right third of the page

red wine vinegar in the middle of the page

18x24" watercolor paper

These abstract pages can be used as art journal backgrounds or cut up into hearts, strips, circles, etc. to use as collage elements. Or make bookmarks, gift tags, labels, and birthday cards.

Click over to Chopped to see how I sliced and diced this page.

Search your kitchen for different liquids to try in your artwork.

How fun! I'm inspired. I just purchased a set of bright rainbow inks (not sure specifically what kind) and I had no idea what I was going to do with them. I just knew that they were normally $15.99 and were on clearance at Michaels for $4.99. I must try this.

What a wonderful prompt! Very colorful and inspiring. I have a whole bunch of alphabet stamps... now I know what I could do with them, a million thanks :]
