A Holiday Break

Look what we can do when we work together!

{photographic credits at flickr}

A mosaic of images posted to the Daisy Yellow flickr group for the Building a Rainbow project.

Time for my annual holiday bloggie break.

There will be sleeping in and drawing and adventures.

There will be movies and cuddling and popcorn.

There will be guests and presents and blinking lights.

There will be sewing and books and pumpkin pie.

Thank you for all of your comments, your kind emails, your challenges, your ideas, your patience, your creativity.

Your comments are the way I know whether you "get" what I'm saying. They are helpful. They drive me to continue to create quality content and share stuff with you. They help me remember that I'm not the only quirky one out there.

Thank you to all of the color hostesses.

Thank you for twitter conversations about all sorts of randomness. Thank you for sharing your art on flickr. Thank you for your blogs and podcasts. Thank you for your words and photographs.

Thank you for buying the Daisy Yellow Zines. Thank you for your  donations. Thank you to those taking El Parquesito Workshop and those who took my Urban Layer Cake Workshop at 21 Secrets.

I'll be back in early January.

Best wishes for the new year.

May it be lovely and colorful and happy.

May there be less mean and more nice.

I was really happy to find Daisy Yellow Tammy - it's there in my 'Most Visited' sites!

So for now:

Time for a reluctant Daisy Yellow break.
There will be gardening and drawing and adventures.
There will be days at the beach, games and gardening.
There will be guests and presents and blinking lights.
There will be sewing and books and barbeques.

Some things are just the same - even though it's summertime in New Zealand!

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year with you family and friends Tammy.

...and thank You! In 2011, Dasiy Yellow went from "never heard of it" to "check it every day," got me to participate in my first-ever art challenge (ICAD), and is a constant source of inspiration and fun. Have a wonderful holiday, see you in 2012.
